Untitled - Because Nothing is Right Until She's OK

My daughter has been recovering from a gymnastics injury. We've gone to the Dr. a couple of times - had a X-ray. Both times we were told it's inflammation, and all we can do is give it time and rest. Her symptom did seem to fluctuate between looking better and looking worse. We recently got an MRI to be sure. Yesterday, we were told that based on the results of that MRI, she needs to come in for a biopsy surgery this week. It's either something that is not a big deal, or it's something that is a very big deal. We have to wait three days for the surgery, and maybe another few days for results. Most of me just hates the world and everyone in it right now. However, I have found a corner of gratitude for having had 53 days of practice with not drinking, prior to receiving this news. I am and will be sober, feel every feeling with her, and sit with her through every excruciating second while we wait together - sober.
